Jesus sacrificed his life for every person who has ever lived or will live on the earth. Jesus, fully God and man, was the only perfect person who ever lived. Because our sin separated us from Father God, Jesus took our sin and punishment…death. He died on the cross for us, then rose again. Now Jesus sits at the right hand of Father God. He sacrificed his life to reconciled us to Father God. When we confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, Father God adopts us into his family. He intercedes for us. He sent his Holy Spirit to guide and direct us. He does so much for each of us, what’s your sacrifice for Jesus Christ? What are you willing to do or give up to show your devotion to Jesus for all he has done for you?
Time to study the Bible and reflect of God’s word.
Attend worship services.
Praise and worship for all he has done for us.
My free will as I acknowledge Jesus as Savior and King and bow to his will for my life.
My bad attitudes, thoughts and feelings replacing them with those that honor Jesus.
My future including my personal ambitions and goals. Wherever Jesus leads, I will follow.
I’m not perfect in following this list. However, I make the effort to please Jesus and each day it’s easier to relinquish my will to him. That’s all Jesus asks of us, do our best to be a light in the darkness around us, to share our faith, and love with all we come in contact with.
