We stand at a cross road in our country. We hear voices coming from different directions that will lead us down very different paths. Some are positive voices of wisdom and faith, others are negative and filled with doubt, and even more are lies designed to
deceive. Wisdom comes from Father God. He imparts wisdom to all who seek it…the ability to see clearly with understanding of His truth and ways. It is important you open your heart to wisdom.
Many voices in the world, sound wonderful to undiscerning ears. They make promises of equality, prosperity to all whether the recipients are willing to work for it or not, and freedom from repressive religious dictates for which they distain. Their philosophies set aside faith in God and a higher moral code. Instead they worship self, government, and the created (nature/the environment).
As believers in Jesus Christ, our hearts must be focused on Father God and his ways, which are in direct conflict with the ways of the world. We must discern the truth and turn from anything that would draw us from our walk with Jesus. Love dictates there be no hate, jealousy, envy, racism, prejudice, or bigotry in our hearts, and that we will treat others with consideration, kindness and good will. We are to work hard to support ourselves and our families with Father God’s help and direction. Love must lead the way, serving God and others.
Christians have been and will continue to be held in contempt, by the world, for our steadfast faith in our Lord, and adherence to His Words. Their attacks will continue, even escalate, and many will fall to their deception. We encourage you to open your heart to wisdom, your eyes to truth, and your ears to understanding; or your heart may become hard, your eyes will close to the evil, and your ears will accept lies.
Matthew 13:13-16 (NKJV)
13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive;
15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’
16 “But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear
