With everything going on in our world today, it is imperative you guard your heart. Everyday, we hear news of protests, violence, and hatred. There are even some who site the eclipse as a sign of the end times, but most people know that is an event that happens periodically. All these negative words can sow seeds of distrust, anger, and hate toward our fellow man. These seeds can grow into feelings, then those feelings move action…behaviors contrary to those of love, unity, compassion, and consideration set forth by Jesus Christ. We must hold onto the love instilled in our heart when we accepted him as Lord and Savior.
The time will come when we will be called upon to defend ourselves, family, and friends. Now is not that time. Our enemy, Satan, his minions, and those people he has influenced are pushing their agenda of chaos and disorder. We should stand our ground against the evil. But in our opinion, now is not the time for action. Though, we should voice our disapproval of racism, bigotry, rioting, damage of property, and hatred in any form.
You must also guard your heart against the spirit of fear. All the signs of the times, point toward a very violent time ahead. We must keep our eyes upon Jesus. We must continue our preparations, they are extremely important. It is our belief it will mean the difference of life and death for those we love and brothers and sisters in the Lord.
Our personal preparations include providing a small ranch, self-sufficient with the ability to provide off-grid electricity and wood heat. A large garden and farm animals (both for food and work) are part of our planning.
We are with you in prayer and support as you prepare and learn to guard your heart.
Proverbs 4:23 (NIV) 23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
